Deposit of strains
The HUT Culture Collection accepts the deposition of strains which have special properties related to education, research and applications. All the strains accepted for deposition are open to the scientific community and distributed to persons in research and educational institutions.
Individuals wishing to deposit strains should write to the person in charge of the HUT Culture
Collection. After the submission is reviewed for acceptance, an accession form (HUT Strain Data
Sheet) is sent to the contributor. For deposition, 3 of freeze /L-dried cultures or 2 of agar/broth cultures should be submitted to the HUT with the filled out accession form.
