1. Ordering

Strains are distributed to research and education. When ordering a strain, please supply the scientific name and the accession number, and the purpose or subject of the research for which the strain is to be used. To distribute coultuers, fill out the order form and agreement, and airmail them to me. Orders by telephone or e-mail are currently not accepted. After receiving signed your order form, we will send you the cultures for free, but we set a limit by five coultuers per an organization or institution.

2. Restrictions

The strain is limited to use of your research and development, sale in lots to others are forbidden. Do not use to an anti-social usage though it does not ask whether you get profits by research. Describe the HUT accession number on your papers or products, If the strain is helpful to your research and development.

3. Request for data obtained by using the strains distributed.

HUT welcomes reprints of scientific papers of research conducted using the strains provided or the data on the strains described in any form. These information will be deposited in HUT as useful source for documentation of strains.
